Do I need a website?

Yes, absolutely! In an age where both businesses and customers/clients are all moving to the web, you will be left in the dust if you don't keep up. You should not view this is a necessary evil however, but rather an opportunity. A website should be a business investment that you look forward to making because of how much it can potentially help your business in the long run. Are you in a competitive field and looking to expand your market? I have the skills and services necessary to make your website stand out, and get you great placement in Google through search engine optimization.

How long does a website take to make?

This largely depends on how long the client takes to send over all the assets such as pictures and content. If everything is provided up front, I typically ask for 4-6 weeks assuming that communication will be good. Often waiting for approvals and material from the client is the most time consuming part of building a website.

How much does a website cost?

Being a custom web designer, I understand that every company and project is unique. There are unlimited possibilities on what can be included in a website package. On Average, the websites that I build cost between $2,000 to $6,000. I have done 1-page sites for cheaper depending on the project specifications, and I am capable of doing much more expensive sites as well. For the most part, I try to work with you on a great solution and keep your budget in mind. A website can be a great investment if you have the right person creating it and I always make sure I am giving my clients the biggest bang for their buck.

Who writes the content that goes on the website?

All textual content will be provided by you. You know your business better than me, and will be able to create much more valuable content for the website that I would. However, I will offer guidelines and tips for writing that will allow your content to be optimized great for search engines.

Why should I hire you when I can use a free online template such as the yellow pages websites?

There is a reason they are free. Although you may feel like you're getting a great deal, if you really want to take advantage of the online market and expand your business, a custom website design from a professional is the way to go. Free website templates are very restricting to both design, layout, and features. Again, websites are not something you should try to find the cheapest route to go. Yellow pages websites all use the exact same content depending on what category of website it is for. What does this mean for you? It means that there is no original content in your website and this will hurt your search engine ranking, making it useless for expanding your online presence due to the fact that there are 1000's of other websites out there just like it.

Who owns the Website once it is completed?

As soon as the final payment is received from you, the rights to the website are all yours. This means all the content, images, files, and databases belong to you and you can do with them what you please.
